Asus ZenFone 7 Arriving on August 26 with Snapdragon 865+
The last flagship smartphone from the Asus ZenFone series was ZenFone 6. That was announced back in May last year with a notch-less display and flip camera module. Which enables a full view display alongside the great selfie camera quality. The flip camera module can work as both a selfie camera and rear camera. The module attached with a motorized sensor to flip the camera according to your needs. The same camera module could be seen on the next flagship of the ZenFone series. The company had revealed the ZenFone 7 series will be announced on August 26. There are possibilities that the ZenFone could include a pro version in the series. Asus ZenFone 7 and Asus ZenFone 7 Pro will be joining the family on Agust 26.
Things to expect from Asus ZenFone 7
In the past couple of months, the ZenFone 7 was been in the rumours. The new price leak could put OnePlus and Samsung to shame. The phone already bags major certifications including NCC with the model number “ASUS_1002D”. While in the process its key specs have been revealed. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC while it fueled by a 5000mAh battery. Further, it has 30W fast charging mechanism onboard. On the other hand, ZenFone 7 Pro could be seen with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC at the helm. With few more tweaks than the ZenFone 6.

However, the display and the camera array specification is yet not known. In the display department, we could expect the same arrangement earlier we have seen in the ZenFone 6. While an improvement could hit the camera department. Earlier it was a dual-camera module with motorized flip functionality. That consists of a 48MP main camera sensor and a 13MP ultrawide sensor.
As far as the storage is concerned, there are two variants in 6GB-128GB and 8GB-256GB storage configuration. While price reveal says the base variant 6GB-128GB with Snapdragon 865+ is priced at EUR 499 (around ₹44,500) while the top model price set at EUR 549 (around ₹49,000). While the OnePlus 8 Pro at ₹54,999, ZenFone 7 will defeniately be a great deal if comes with that price point. The launch will take place on August 26 at 6AM GMT via online.
