Nokia 3.4 render reveals the design, features and specifications

The European biggest tech expo IFA 2020 is on the near corner on September 5, 2020, but the HMD Nokia might not interested. In the past few months, we have not heard any interesting news coming from the HMD Nokia, rather the company keep leaking budget segment devices. Recently Nokia 3.4 a budget centric phone pops up online with almost all specs and the physical appearance. The render of the phone is allegedly made from a real device, the tipster claimed. However, there are two budget phones spotted on the GeekBench process under the codename “DoctorStrange” and the “Wolverine”.  The HMD doctor strange is presumed to be the Nokia 3.4 while the HMD Wolverine is presumed to be the Nokia 2.4. That further confirms the device is clearly out there in the circle of the industry insiders.

Nokia 3.4 Features and Specs (rumours)

Upfront, the device is built around an HD+ resolution IPS LCD display of size 6.5″ inch with a punch hole on the top left and the speaker grill on top. Beneath the punch hole, there you have an 8MP selfie camera sensor. Around the back, there you have a ring-shaped camera module and a fingerprint scanner below the camera module. The camera module consists of triple camera sensors alongside an LED flash. The sensors are a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP either a macro sensor or the depth sensor.

Under the hood, there you have Qualcomm’s snapdragon 662 SoC. Back in the past, in the GeekBench listing, the device has been spotted with the SoC. Codenamed “Bengal” later it found to be the Snapdragon 662. That also featured in the Moto G9, the SoC combines 8XKyro 260 CPUs at 1.8GHz fabricated in the 11nm process. Further, it bundled with Adreno 610 GPU and 3GB of RAM alongside 64GB onboard storage. For sure the storage expansion option will be there via a microSD card. The system inside the device is running on Android 10 while it gets fuel from a 4000mAh battery. That has 10W fast charging support through a 2.0 MicroUSB port.

Connectivity-wise the phone will have dual SIM support of 4G LTE networks alongside Wi-Fi connectivity. Other connectivity including a MicroUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint scanner and more.

Price and availability

We come to know the existence of the device via a render based on the real thing and several leaks. Offical availability is yet to be known, however, the phone is likely to join the Nokia family by September 3 with the Nokia 6.3 and the 7.3.
