Nokia 5.3 Listed on India Official Landing Page With Snapdragon 665
In March this year, HDM Global Nokia had revealed multiple smartphones. Nokia 5.3 was among one of them. That is now listed on the official landing page in India, tipped for launch. Soon after the unveiled of the phone, it was listed on India’s official site. Now it got a place on the landing page which suggests the launch of the device is near the corner in the country. The company listed the phone will full specifications but no mention of the price tag. The phone will be available in India with the same specifications which were earlier launched in Europe in March 2020. Let’s have an introduction to the phone below.
Nokia 5.3 Features and Specs
Upfront, the device is built around an HD+ resolution IPS LCD display of size 6.55″ inch alongside waterdrop notch, speaker grill on top, and the Nokia branding on the bottom. Further, it has a 20:9 aspect ratio viewing experience alongside an 82.3% screen-to-body ratio. Furthermore, it has 450nits of peak brightness and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
Underneath the notch, we have an 8MP selfie camera sensor capable of taking 1080p videos at 30fps. At the rear side of the phone, we got a plastic back panel. That features a fingerprint scanner and a ring-shaped camera module above the fingerprint sensor. The ring-shaped camera module consists of quad-camera sensors and a LED flash surrounded by the camera sensors. The camera sensors are a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Under the hood, it has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 SoC. The SoC combines 4×2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver CPU cores fabricated in the 11nm process. Besides, it bundled with Adreno 610 GPU and 6GB RAM alongside 64GB onboard storage. Further, we have storage expansion support via a MicroSD card up to 512GB. The system runs on Android one based on Android 10. While it fueled by a 4000mAh battery beside the 10W fast charging mechanism.
In terms of connectivity, the phone has 4G LTE support alongside Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi direct. The other connectivity includes a USB Type-C connector, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, fingerprint scanner, and other necessary sensors including GPS, Proximity, etc.
Price, variant, availability
The phone has three storage variants configured as 3GB-64GB, 4GB-64GB, and 6GB-64GB. In Germany, the phone is available at EUR 179 (around ₹15,800) for the 4GB-64GB variant. Alongside it has three color options to choose from Cyan, Sand, and Charcol. As the phone hits the landing page it will be launch sooner than we expecting.
