Nokia C3 An Entry-Level Smartphone Launched with Unisoc SoC
Five months after the launch of the Nokia C2 globally, the HDM Global has launched Nokia C3 in China. The phone goes official after being rumored for quite some time for its new chipset “Unisoc”. The Unisoc SoC was available in the code name “GamoraPlus” in the GeekBench and is based on 28nm architecture. While the phone comes under an entry-level segment and offers pretty decent specs. The phone could face tough competition against the Realme C11 or C12 in China or Globally. However, there are no words for its Global availability.

Nokia C3 Features and Specs
Upfront, there you have an HD+ resolution IPS LCD display of size 5.99″ inch. Besides, a speaker grill and the front-facing camera of 5MP on top. You have an 18:9 aspect ratio viewing experience alongside 75% screen to body ratio. While at the rear side of the phone, you have a vertically aligned single camera sensor of an 8MP accompanied by a LED flash and a fingerprint scanner below that.
Under the hood, there you have a new octa-core SoC from Unisoc. The processor combines 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A55 & 4×1.2 GHz Cortex-A55 CPU cores fabricated in the 28nm process. Besides, it coupled with IMG8322 GPU and 3GB RAM alongside 32GB onboard storage. Furthermore, there you have a storage expansion option via a microSD card up to 400GB. The system runs on stock Android 10 while the system fueled by a 3040mAh battery. No fast charging mechanism had provided in the system there you have the normal charging functionality of 5W.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the phone has 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support. Alongside, MicroUSB 2.0, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.2, Fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack is available as well.
Price, variant, and availability
The phone is available in China with pre-orders status. The sale will begin on August 13 onwards. The phone has only a single storage variant 3GB-32GB storage configuration with two color options to choose from Nordic Blue and Gold Sand. The phone selling at YUAN 699 (roughly ₹7,500), I believe you will have a better value for money option if you opted for Xiaomi or Realme entry-level phones.
