T-Mobile Revvl 5G Alongside Revvl 4+ and Revvl 4 announced in the US
In an attempt to make 5G widely accessible in the US, the telecom company announces three self-branded devices. The telecom giant T-Mobile is going for self-branded 5G devices to make 5G device cheaper as well as to gain more consumer base. The company has announced three devices T-Mobile Revvl 5G, Revel 4+ and the Revvl 4. The first one is 5G whereas the Revvl 4+ and the Revvl 4 will be just 4G LTE supported device. The company said the Revvl 5G would cost $400 and even cheaper like $200 if the customer opted for monthly statement credits through T-Mobile. Anyways this is a good move, in India Jio could offer such deals in the near future with their homegrown 5G technology solutions.
T-Mobile Revvl 5G Features and Specs
Upfront, the device is built around an FHD+ resolution display of size 6.53″ inch with a punch hole on the top left and the speaker grill on top. Underneath the hole, there is a 16MP selfie camera sensor. Around the back, there we have a square-shaped camera module and the encrypted fingerprint scanner. The camera module consists of tripe camera sensors and an LED flash. The cameras are a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor.
Under the hood, there you have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 SoC. Further, the SoC combines 1XKyro 475 at 2.4GHz & 1XKyro 475 at 2.2GHz & 6XKyro 475 at 1.8GHz CPU cores that fabricated in the 7nm process. Besides, it bundled with Adreno 620 GPU and LPDDR4x 6GB RAM alongside 128GB UFS 2.1 onboard storage. The system runs on Android 10 while it fueled by a 4500mAh battery. However, the charging technology inside the phone is yet to know. I guess it will be at least 18W fast charging mechanism.
Connectivity-wise the phone supports the US nationwide 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 5. The other connectivity options are yet to know but I likely to get a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, fingerprint scanner and the other necessary sensors including GPS, Gyro, Proximity, etc.
Price and availability
The phone is available in two scenarios for existing T-Mobile customers as well as the new customers. For the existing customer i.e well-qualified T-Mobile customer can get the Revvl 5G for just $16.67/month (around ₹1225/month) Full retail price $399.99 (around ₹29300) for all over 24 months. With zero down payment and no interest on the monthly statement plan. While the new T-Mobile customers, as well as existing customers, can get the Revvl 5G just for $200. After 24 bill credits when they switch or add a new line. The deal starts on September 4 on Online or at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile stores across the US nation.
