Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra Announced: It Has Everything One Can Imagine!
Xiaomi was born a decades ago, it comes a long way from where it begins. Xiaomi is one of the dominators in the smartphone market. The very first device from the company was Mi 1 now the company celebrates its 10th Aniversary by announcing Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. It has everything one can imagine – the company stated. Earlier this year, the company has releases Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. This new lineup “Ultra” has everything we want in a premium flagship phone from beast performance to pro-grade camera to 120W fast charging.

The camera array gets a new treatment. That includes a 48MP main camera sensor and another 48MP periscope camera sensor. Which enables 5X optical zoom and 120X digital zoom. The remaining two camera sensors are a 20MP ultrawide camera with a 13mm focal length. That considered the widest camera sensor in a mobile device. The last one is a 12MP telephoto/portrait camera sensor with a 2X optical zoom ability.
The company also focused on thermal management as the device gets a 120W fast charging mechanism. Alongside 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging mechanism as well. Either 120W charging or 50W wireless charging both of the mechanisms will produce a signification heat in the system. As a solution, the company implemented the LiquidCool 2.0 vapor chamber alongside graphite padding of six-layer depth. Instead of the Snapdragon 865 plus edition, the company opted for a non-plus edition of the Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood. Further, the system coupled with LPDDR5 RAM alongside UFS 3.1 storage type support onboard. The system runs of MIUI 12 on the top of Android 10 while it fueled by a dual-cell battery combined capacity of 4500mAh.
Upfront, the device is built around an FHD+ OLED curved display of size 6.67″ inch with a punch hole on the top left and a speaker grill. Besides, the screen gets 10bit color depth alongside HDR 10 support. All together brings a 19.5:9 aspect ratio viewing experience alongside 800nits of peak brightness. Further, it gets a 120Hz refresh rate alongside a 240Hz touch sampling rate on some sort of gorilla glass protection.
Storage variants and color options
The phone will have three storage variants such as 8GB-128GB, 8GB-256GB, 12GB-256GB, and 16GB-512GB storage configuration. It also adds there color options two are regular variants and one transparent back panel. The two color options are Obisidian Black and Mercury Silver. The pricing of the phone has also disclosed the base variant 8GB-128GB has set the price at CNY 5,299 (around ₹ 56,900), CNY 5,599 (around ₹ 61,200) for the 8GB-256GB, CNY 5,999 (around ₹64,400) for the 12GB-256GB, and the top variant priced at CNY 6,999 (around ₹75,200) for the 16GB-512GB.
The phone will hit the Chines market on August 16, 2020 onwards. No words regarding the global availability of the phone.
